A Gloriless Day / Un jour sans gloire

Paul was fourteen years old when, shortly before Christmas, after a family breakfast at his grandparents’ house, his father decided to hit the road again despite the snow and ice. On the road, a truck hit the family car and Paul’s mother was killed instantly. Convinced that his father is responsible for the accident, Paul promises his little brother Benjamin to avenge their mother. A few days later, his father and brother decide to scatter the ashes of the deceased in the mountains. Paul goes ahead to take advantage of his advance to settle his accounts with his father.
